A Quick and Easy Breakfast Recipe
Kande Pohe is a traditional Maharashtrian breakfast recipe that has been enjoyed over the years for its simplicity and homely tastes
There are many variations of Kande Pohe. We can even make it with potatoes by adding them raw or boiled.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp. lavender simple syrup (see below)
1/4 tsp. Grenadine
3 dashes bitters
Steps to make:
- Add peanuts to the hot oil
- Add onions and cumin
- Add poha
- Add sugar and salt
- Add tumeric
- Add coriander
- Add lemon
- Serve hot

There are many variations of this recipe. You can add potatoes to it to make it batata pohe.
